My Two Dollars takes a look at Bush’s new $3.1 Trillion 2009 Budget proposal.
Taken from an AP article “The record $3.1 trillion budget proposed by President Bush on Monday would produce eyepopping federal deficits, despite his attempts to impose politically wrenching curbs on Medicare and eliminate scores of popular domestic programs.”
This article shows that there will be large increases in military and industrial spending. “President Bush is spending like — well — like he’s not going to be here next year when the bills come due.”
It seems as though we are getting ready for higher budget deficits.
The most interesting thing I got out of the article is that our nation is apparently paying $200 Billion in interest on our nation loans; and I thought I had some serious credit card debt!
